About the product
This set is used both in in-line and final stations in piston production line and includes the following items:
- A Special Measuring Machine for Piston Body Forms
This is a special machine designed for measuring and plotting the piston body forms including oval and barrel forms. The part is scanned in 6 sections and rotates one turn in each section.
By comparison the piston forms with standard forms, the parts are marked as OK or reject.
- Piston Outside Diameters
An electronic multigauge system developed for piston outside diameters. This gauge completes the measurement process in less than 5 sec., and the results are displayed on monitor. Also the piston grade versus outside diameter is displayed.
- Other Piston Gauges
All of necessary piston gauges that used in both in-process and final station of production line are presented by Behinehsanj. Some of
these gauges included:
- Squareness of body versus gudgeon-pin axis as datum
- Distance between gudgeon-pin axis and combustion chamber
- Offset of gudgeon-pin axis versus piston axis
- These gauges are presented both by dial-indicators or electonic displays and LVDT probes.
